Can dry ice blasting damage engine bay wiring or electrics?
No. Dry ice blasting is non-abrasive and completely dry. It lifts carbon, oil film and overspray off castings, looms and linkages without water near the electrics or carburettors — the same guarantee we put in writing on every quote: no damage, no residue, or that section isn't charged.
Will dry ice cleaning scratch paint, powder coat or polished alloy rims?
No. The pellets are softer than the substrate and turn to gas on impact, so painted, powder-coated and polished finishes come out clean, not scratched or dulled. That's the same non-abrasive process we use on engine bays, wheel arches and full undercarriages.
